Apparently Beyonce's sister is fans of indie rock darlings Grizzly Bear. So it made sense for her to bring Jay Z and Beyonce to an outdoor show in Williamsburgh. Apparently J (as well as P Diddy) are starting to sign more indie rock to their labels. Better crossover $$$.
I don't really keep up on Funny or Die, but this is very funny, especially the video fast forward parts.
In the early 90s Robert Smigel left SNL to write a sitcom with Conan O'Brian to be produced by Lorne Michaels: a parody of an LA cop show about a washed-up former LA cop show star called Lookwell starring Adam West. It never got past the pilot, but what a pilot:
