Marc and I saw the Teardrop Explodes at the Ritz. We were mostly excited about being able to walk up to the door, say what band we were in, and get in for free.

"When I Dream" was such a great song. I remember Cope telling the NME that he didn't want to be just remembered for that, and I thought "don't hold your breath."
